Albemarle County Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal to join the administrative team at Mountain-View Elementary School.

 

Mountain-View Elementary School aims for all students to communicate, collaborate, create, and think critically on a level necessary to be empowered to become independent, lifelong learners. The staff and students work to create and maintain a positive and safe school that applies the skills of a culturally responsive climate, values the individual, and builds healthy social skills. These goals are obtained through building a strong community based around the Responsive Classroom, culturally responsive teaching, and focusing on social/emotional learning. Mountain-View students have the opportunity to participate in a Spanish Immersion program.

    3. Please reflect on a project or other work that you have been involved with that has had a positive impact on student learning. Be sure to include the purpose, intended and actual outcomes, a brief summary of the process and your specific role. What did you learn from your involvement in this project?

Who May Apply

All applicants must hold (or be eligible by June 30, 2021) a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision PK-12. A minimum of 5 years experience is required.
