The following must be included in the Attachments of your application. A screening interview will not be scheduled until all application requirements are submitted.  Please note: Failure to submit all materials at the initial submission will require you to submit another employment application.

1. How does knowing your students’ stories influence the work you do with them? Please include a specific example that demonstrates this. 

2. Each of our classrooms have students with a range of academic, cultural, social, and emotional needs. Share how you maximize learning opportunities for all of your students. Please include a specific example that demonstrates this



Who May Apply

All applicants must be hold (or be eligible by August 1, 2018) a Virginia teaching license. 

Screening Interview and Application Process

1. Submit application for a screening interview. 
2. All application materials must be uploaded to the attachment section of the application . Screening interviews will not be conducted until all application materials are completed. 
3. A screening interview will be scheduled for all applicants meeting the criteria for this position. The screening interview is the first step in hiring process for teachers / specialists and must be completed for consideration for actual vacancies. 
4. Applicants may apply for specific vacancies as they are posted while waiting for the screening interview to occur. For consideration for specific vacancies and applicant must apply for that position in addition to the screening interview. 
5. This screening interview suffices as the initial screening for all teaching/ specialist positions you may apply for with Albemarle County Public Schools for the 2018-2019 school year. 
6. If you have completed a screening interview with ACPS in prior years you will still need to do this process.
